GUESS was founded by Georges, Armand, Paul, and Maurice Marciano, four Jewish Moroccan brothers raised in Marseille, France. They moved to California from France in 1977 and founded the company in 1981.

Guess is famous for its iconic advertising campaigns which has launched the career of supermodels including Claudia Schiffer. Guess products are available in retail stores throughout the World and can be found in the UK in high profile locations including Bluewater, Manchester Trafford and London's Regent Street. Its clothing lines, which are designed in classic yet trendy styles, include menswear, womenswear and childrenswear. Guess also offers a large range of accessories including eyewear, footwear, fragrances, handbags, jewellery and watches and swimwear.
