Production and Technical Assistant

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of an established supplier, who work with some premium labels along with leading high street retailers.

Working in an administrative capacity, you will be supporting both the production and technical teams in a varied role, where tasks will differ daily depending on the business needs of this fast paced and busy office.

Day to day you will be assisting the production/wholesale merchandising team in all aspects of administration of their orders; drafting, printing and filing customer contracts; entering data in the critical path accurately; creating barcodes, sending them to the factories to prepare the artwork then checking and approving them when returned; carton label approval; filing of lab dips, fabric swatches and paperwork; sending approvals out to the fabric mills and factories as requested; ordering stationery; greeting and looking after buyers and customers visiting the showroom; opening the daily parcels from the factories and mills, taking photos and distributing the contents to the relevant departments; booking DHL and organising the paperwork; assisting the garment technologist by measuring samples; sending samples to customers for approval; and ensuring the showrooms are always tidy and ready for meetings.
