Footwear Designer

This is a great opportunity for a creative, trend lead, footwear designer to join a luxury, youthful footwear brand.

Working closely with the director and China teams, you will be responsible for researching the market via shopping trips to have a strong understanding of the most up to date trends; implementing direction and innovation; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; presenting ranges to customers in a confident manner; communicating effectively with internal accessories teams; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

The role will suit a passionate, creative, proactive and adaptable fashion footwear design specialist with a sound knowledge of processes, strong technical capabilities and experience designing casual boots, sandals, loafers, ballerinas, footbeds and trainers.
