Assistant Merchandiser

This multinational retailer specialising in multiple product areas including food, DIY and homeware has a global presence resulting in being an industry leader.

As an assistant merchandiser, you will support the merchandising function across multiple departments. Supporting the planning manager, you will ensure that the right products arrive at the right place and time. You will plan and build ranges for your department while analysing information and making key strategic decisions to drive performance.

Coming from a merchandising background, you will be an existing assistant merchandiser looking to develop your skills and experience.

The role is paying a salary of £38,000. There is a performance-related bonus and benefits package that includes flexible working, enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay. Furthermore, there are wellbeing and financial benefits. The retailer offers a hybrid working schedule with 3 days based in the office and 2 days working from home. Due to the location, there is a shuttle service that will transport you to the office in Hatfield. Please note, this is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
