Logistics Shipping Assistant

Sitting within the Production department of a fashion / retail company, the Logistics / Shipping Assistant will usually report into the Production Manager. A logistics or production background, preferably within a fashion and retail environment is required for the job of Logistics/Shipping assistant.

Working as a Logistics / Shipping Assistant in the fashion industry you will be responsible for ensuring that stock is picked and pulled and assigned to the correct stores of the fashion / retail company. As a Logistics / Shipping Assistant it is your responsibility to ensure that all shipments are sent on time and correct. Within the job of Logistics / Shipping Assistant you will be liaising with all departments with regards to shipping schedules for all stores so excellent communication skills are required.
